The Borer Model Cprox-M and Cprox-MX (keypad) readers employ the latest in intelligent card access control reader technology, offering compatibility with Mifare security badges, tags and key fobs. Mifare is a multi-purpose card where one card can be used across a range of applications including: -

Hitag Proximity readers

The Borer Model Cprox-H and Cprox-HX (keypad) readers employ the latest in intelligent card access control reader technology. They communicate using Controller Area Network, conforming to the ISO 11898 standard for serial data communication. CAN provides a secure, high-speed data link for mission critical systems, which is ideal for access control and alarm monitoring applications. The CAN protocol allows any device on the network to talk to any other device. Messages are prioritized, so should a number of devices attempt to access the network simultaneously, priority messages will always take precedence over other data.

Digital I/O Devices – SLIO42 and SLIO88

The SLIO88 and SLIO42 are designed to undertake complex alarm monitoring and control functions. It has a powerful scripting engine, which allows the user to create and download bespoke programmable logic functions. This enables the SLIO to undertake a variety of repetitive monitoring and control tasks such as: automatically setting and re-setting alarms according to the time of day and day of the week; counting cars in and out of a parking garage and inhibiting access when the garage is full; the sequencing and control of interlocking doors; etc.

Time and Attendance Readers

The Borer Time and Attendance reader is based on the same technology as our Access Control Reader heads. This means the reader plugs straight into the existing CAN network with minimum of fuss. The reader has a LCD display to show information of employees attendance records.

Legacy Reader Interface Modules

The Borer LIM card access reader controller will support most of the common card access reader technologies available including: - Wiegand readers, bar code readers, magnetic stripe, Dallas `iButton’, biometric fingerprint readers as well as most proximity readers. The LIM communicates using Controller Area Network, conforming to the ISO 11898 standard for serial data communication. CAN provides a secure, high-speed data link for mission critical systems, which is ideal for access control and alarm monitoring applications.

CAN Hub

The Borer CAN hub is designed to make ease of installation, and to resend CAN messages over long cable runs. The CAN hub takes 1 CAN bus, and outputs 2 CAN bus's. The CAN hub can also be used to supply additional power to the CAN bus.

Network Bridge

The Borer Network Bridge allows companies and Organizations to use their existing network infrastructure to connect access controlled doors and monitored alarm within the Borer ATRACS management system. The bridge provides a link from the Local Area Network (LAN) to the Control Area Network (CAN) on which we place our access controllers and related devices. By utilizing the LAN infrastructure the installation and maintenance time to our access control devices is significantly reduced.

The Atracs-GC (Graphic Console) is a powerful tool, which provides the user with a single graphical interface for the monitoring and control of building, environmental and security systems. Atracs-GC allows The user to create a unified graphical representation of Their sites, buildings and facilities with access controlled doors, alarm points and CCTV cameras mapped onto it.

Locker management software

The Borer ATRACS Locker Manager enables security conscious organizations to assign specified people, temporary or permanent, access to locker storage. With ATRACS Locker Manager you can assign one or more individuals short term or permanent access to a given locker or secure box for the storage of personal articles or security sensitive documents. Access to the locker is gained by using an access card or by placing a finger on a finger print reader. ATRACS Locker Manager will verify your access privileges and if cleared, will unlock only your locker. The identity of the Locker is displayed on an LCD display attached to the reader head.

Time and Attendance software

Attendance management systems require considerable and sustained administrative effort to effectively produce meaningful management information. Effort is required to distribute reports and summaries, adjust attendance records for absences, missed clockings and holidays, or answer staff queries. ATRACS Web puts the information directly onto the manager’s desktop by linking attendance data held on the ATRACS database to an Intranet Web Site.

Visitor Management Software

ATRACS Visitor Management harnesses the power of web technology to increase front desk efficiency while enhancing the public image of the host organization. This web-based solution allows all staff to participate in the pre registration of visitors and contractors. A visitor’s details can be keyed in on arrival and the visitor logged on site.
